Dish offers Heartland Package upgrade for family oriented channels
Finding the right channels that can be enjoyed by the whole family has finally come available to Dish Network subscribers through the latest addition to the list of package upgrades, and it’s called the Heartland Package. The Dish Heartland Package can be upgraded through any of the current Dish packages for only $5 per month, which will provide the Hallmark Channel and Movie Channel, PixL, RFD TV, and GMC TV. Here’s a breakdown for each:
The Hallmark Channel:
The Hallmark Channel is broadcasted on channel 185, and carries primetime family TV shows such as The Golden Girls, Frasier, I Love Lucy, and Cheers. Daytime shows accent the emphasis toward the culinary arts and homemaking with TV shows like Emeril’s Table, The Martha Stewart Show, Martha Bakes, and Mad Hungry.
The Hallmark Movie Channel:
Even though the Hallmark Movie Channel is primarily focused on delivering high quality original movies, there’s also TV shows like Murder She Wrote and Matlock. When you’re in the mood for movies you’ll find originals like Goodnight for Justice with actor Luke Perry. There are even special days where the whole day will be dedicated to movies with a western theme.
GMC TV:
Not to be confused with the auto manufacturer, GMC TV provides uplifting entertainment that is focused toward programming with an inspirational message. Offering TV shows like the Walton’s and Heartland, GMC TV spotlights the very best in wholesome TV shows.
RFD TV:
RFD TV is a channel that’s especially made for rural America, providing shows, news and farm reports that bring to the forefront all the best in country living. Rodeos, country music videos, and shows about everything that surrounds the lifestyle of living on a farm are what makes RFD TV the top choice for those that love life outside of the city.
PixL:
PixL is a family-friendly movie channel that provides inspirational movies that will touch the minds and hearts of everyone. PixL broadcasts commercial-free movies 24 hours a day, 365 days per week.
