DISH Network launches latest 2012 promotional deals

February 1st marked the first day of the 2012 promotions with news that DISH Network had shortened their name down to just DISH, and along with this change came additional word that the BLOCKBUSTER Movie Pass had also had a name change to now being known as BLOCKBUSTER @Home. BLOCKBUSTER @Home will be given away for free to new subscribers for 3 months as a way for them to explore all the benefits that it has to offer, such as instant video streaming to your TV, computer, and iPad. TV shows, movies, and games can get mailed directly to your home, and lastly unlimited in-store exchanges so you don’t have to wait to get your next DVD, game, or Blu-Ray to arrive in the mail. Blu-Rays don’t cost extra, which should make some folks out there that have used the Redbox service very happy to save that money.

Free Premium Channels
From now through May, DISH will also be giving away all 4 premium channels (HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, and Starz) for 3 months to new subscribers so they can find out what each one has to offer. The free premium channels are the best way to check out whether or not you’ll like a particular upgrade is to enjoy it through a free trial, and this latest special offer will give subscribers that opportunity.

Lower package prices
DISH is also offering a few of their packages for lower prices on the first year savings, and those that have been lowered are the America’s Top 200 which is now $34.99 per month during the first year, America’s Top 250 which is $39.99 during the first year, and the DishLATINO Plus package that’s been lowered to only $22.99 per month for the first year.

Sling adapter for only $30
The deal for the free Sling adapter ended January 31st, but those who would still like to get satellite TV streaming to their wireless devices can now pick up the Sling adapter for $30 instead of paying the full price of $99. The Sling adapter provides access to your DVR so you can use the TV Everywhere service. TV Everywhere has been wildly popular, and will no doubt grow in popularity as more people use it.
